Campus Explore Israel Trip

The Campus Explore Israel Trip is a Hillel’s premier campus-based experience. Traveling with other students from your campus and community, you will explore the major sites of Israel and amazing places you didn’t even know existed. You’ll meet your Israeli peers and get to know the real Israel - hiking Masada, exploring the tunnels under the Western Wall, drumming with the Bedouin in their desert tents, and dancing in an Israeli nightclub will show you an Israel not seen on the nightly news.

Greek Leadership & Service (Ages 18-22)

This trip is for students who are members of a fraternity or sorority who hold leadership positions either within their Greek organization OR in other campus organizations. Participants will have an opportunity to think more creatively about leadership and social change in an environment separate from their academics. They will gain exposure to and exchange ideas with students at Israeli institutions and social entrepreneurs who are developing and implementing new ideas to engage others and advance their ideas.

Expected trip dates-early June

American Sign Language (ASL)/Spoken English (Ages 18-26)

Hillel will offer students who are deaf or hard of hearing the opportunity to explore their Jewish identity on a Taglit-Birthright Israel trip, along with students who are hearing and have some familiarity with ASL. With the aid of ASL interpreters, the deaf participants will experience Israel with a group of others who share their common language. Hearing students will also benefit by seeing firsthand the importance of language in connecting to culture, and by experiencing Israel with another subset of the Jewish community. The mifgash component of the trip will consist of deaf soldiers who have their own unique stories to share.

Expected trip dates-early June

Fashion Israel (Ages 18-22)

The Fashion Israel trip invites students who are studying fashion – design, marketing, merchandising and more – to explore this discipline in Israel through a Jewish and an Israeli lens! With your Israeli peers who are also studying and working in the fashion world, explore all that Israel has to offer: the history, the sites, the culture...AND the cutting edge fashion scene!

Expected trip dates-mid-August
